CO-CHAIR - CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF NUTRITION AND DIETETICS, LOS ANGELES DISTRICT

Responsible for assisting social media team different task depending on events and projects.

California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is a not-for-profit membership association of approximately 6,500 registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), nutrition dietetic technicians registered (NDTRs), and students committed to improving California’s health and advancing the profession of dietetics through research, education, and advocacy.

STUDENT RESEARCHER- CHLA- KIDS N FITNESS T2DM INTERNSHIP

January 2018- April 2018

Assist in collecting anthropometric measurements, input research and biological clinical data into Redcap System.


Kids N Fitness© is an evidence-based, six-week weight management program for children ages 8-16 experiencing overweight and obesity and their parents. The 1.5 hour-weekly class consists of interactive nutrition education, physical activity, and parent seminars. The entire family is welcome and encouraged to attend. Kids N Fitness© was developed in 2000 to help meet the health needs of children and youth.

LEAD TEACHER ASSISTANT- CSUN LAB  PRESCHOOL INTERNSHIP

January 2017- December 2017

Assist with developing and teaching lesson plans, assessed children's development, participated in parent teacher conferences, and assisted with preparing children's lunch and snacks. 


The CHIME Institute Preschool Inclusion Program is unique in its provision of a transdisciplinary and developmentally appropriate program designed to support the inclusion of children with disabilities into a general education setting.


Special features include:

  • Developmentally appropriate interventions and therapies embedded within typical early childhood classroom settings and activities

  • Emphasis on natural social and communication skills practice with peers

  • Individualized approach to classroom modifications planning
